MATHEMATICAL OLYMPIAD IN THE bic!
The British International College will be holding in November 2009 its first inner Mathematical Olympiad. The participant levels will be years 8, 9 10 y 11.
The winners of this local contest will be representing our school in the National Mathematical Olympiad that will be hold in March next year (2010).
Our school will be participating in 2 different categories: Primer Nivel (Years 8 and 9) and Nivel Intermedio (Years 10 and 11).
To join the group of participants is very easy. First of all, you have to be a student of the British International College and then you must show your mathematical skills by solving one of the problems posted on this page.
The solution to the problem must include process and answer and it must be sent by e-mail. You can send it to iniciado@gmail.com
Important notice: All the problems on this page have been written in Spanish because this is the language used in the National Contest. If one of the problems is solved by any student, the problem will be replaced by another and this and its solution will pass to the exercises section.
